founded on the danish island of bornholm, kadeau celebrates the beauty, rhythm, and traditions of its origin through food, atmosphere, and a deep connection to nature.

the collaboration between kadeau and wette mille grew from a shared respect for craft, intuition, and material sensitivity. to begin the project, wette mille was invited into kadeau’s world to experience the restaurant firsthand: the open kitchen, the calm precision, the warmth of the room, and the quiet choreography between guests and chefs.

from this meeting came a silver spoon, crafted for one of the fifteen dishes served at kadeau copenhagen. set with two pieces of amber from fanø, the spoon forms a tangible link between fanø and bornholm, and between two crafts shaped by patience, trust, and process.

alongside the spoon, thirteen flower sculptures were created for the restaurant. made in silver or oxidised copper and set with different gemstones, each flower holds its own quiet presence, placed throughout the space as subtle extensions of kadeau’s sensory universe. over time, they have taken on a life of their own within the restaurant. when a table is left empty, the flowers are gently moved to its centre, quietly closing the table.

at its core, the collaboration speaks to mutual respect between crafts, the act of listening, and the creation of something that truly belongs.
